The menu is designed to be casual, fun, and a bit adventurous.

The menu is designed to be casual, fun, and a bit adventurous. You can see that in the wide range of options it presents: from your classic burgers and chicken wings to vegetarian options like the kale salad with quinoa and roasted sweet potatoes.

If you’re looking for something new, try their vegan cauliflower tacos or stuffed peppers. The broccoli pasta dish is another crowd favourite at this place because they include both broccoli florets and whole-wheat penne noodles, as well as parmesan cheese made with coconut oil instead of cows. Milk!

Everything at the Blue Plate Kitchen is made using the freshest ingredients.

The Blue Plate Kitchen is a treasure trove of delectable dishes. With everything made from scratch, you’re getting the freshest ingredients possible. Even the salad dressing is made in-house!

The menu is mostly American comfort food, with some interesting twists here and there (hello, grilled cheese waffle). Some of my favourite things to get are macaroni and cheese, burgers, sandwiches, and salads (the BLT salad is one of my all-time favourites).

If you’re trying to avoid sugar or gluten but still want something sweet for dessert…those who like ice cream will be happy with their homemade ice cream flavours (the peanut butter chocolate chip was terrific!).

A craft cocktail menu with new takes on classic recipes is also available.

Five craft cocktails are available, each made with various spirits and juices. The options include the “Boulevardier,” made with bourbon, sweet vermouth, and Campari; the “New Old Fashioned,” which substitutes rye whiskey for bourbon; and the “Gin Fizz,” which uses gin plus lemon juice, simple syrup, and seltzer water.

Besides these drinks, wine lovers can choose from a selection of reds and whites worldwide. A list of beers is also available at this restaurant in West Hartford’s Blue Plate Kitchen.

The kitchen prides itself on being family-friendly.

The kitchen prides itself on being family-friendly, and it shows. From the moment you walk into the restaurant, you will notice children’s menus at every table and a baby changing station in the bathroom. There is also a play area for toddlers with soft toys and books. Parents who want their kids to stay entertained while waiting for their food can bring them into this colourful space before sitting at their table.

If your child wants to eat, but you don’t want them colouring on the wall (or yourself), there’s no need to worry: they have colouring sheets that they can use instead of crayons or paint pens! To ensure your child doesn’t go hungry while colouring, order food through their online ordering system—it brings everything right to your door without leaving the house!

The biggest draw may be The Blue Plate Kitchen West Hartford’s Kids Activity Book, which includes pages upon pages of fun exercises ranging from simple tracing games to board games like Candyland and Chutes & Ladders.

When you visit The Blue Plate Kitchen, you’ll find an exciting menu of modern American cuisine. This restaurant is a bit adventurous but also approachable and family-friendly. It has friendly service, a vibrant atmosphere, and excellent cocktails that are sure to please!

The Blue Plate Kitchen features deliciously creative cocktails such as the “Vermouth on the Beach” — a refreshing blend of dry vermouth & cava topped with passionfruit foam and garnished with coconut flakes. Or try their take on an old-fashioned called “Ode to Rittenhouse Rye” with rye whiskey, bitters & maple syrup – served in a coupe glass over crushed ice & finished with cherry bitters on top!

Some of our favourite appetizers include truffled popcorn shrimp served piping hot with bourbon butter sauce for dipping; Maryland-style crab cakes served over cornbread croutons, or Yukon gold potato pancakes topped with smoked salmon cream cheese spread—these are just some of the many options available at The Blue Plate Kitchen West Hartford!
